Awesome Summer Camp - China Adventure!

We are dedicated to connecting U.S. students to the rich culture of China through experiencing Chinese culture, Chinese language, and Chinese education hands on. China is a top tourist destination due to its amazing history, contributions to the world, globalization, as well as breathtaking landscapes and architecture. From the culinary experiences that delights the palate to the unique way the Chinese combine traditions to modern society, it is no wonder why people from all over the world want to experience everything China has to offer. Our 2018 Summer Exchange Camp allows you to give your child the gift of learning through travel which will be embedded in both their memory and in their heart, and that is priceless.

Why should I participate?

The activities in this unique summer program are all carefully reviewed and chosen based on what would be the most enjoyable, educational, and most beneficial overall to the students. We want each student to go to China and be immersed in China's diversity, ancient traditions, culture, and modern world. The best way to learn something new and have a lasting effect is through engagement and hands on experience.

The students will be traveling to China's capital Beijing then to Xi'an, the political and military capital for many ancient dynasties. Students will visit popular destinations such as the Great Wall, the Sumer Palace, the Forbidden City, the Terracotta Warrior, the Wild Goose Pagoda, etc. During the first week of traveling, students will stay in four-star hotels. Then they will go to Chengdu, the home town of Panda. There, they are staying with their Chinese host families and go to school to learn and exchange with their Chinese peers. The students will take HIGH SPEED TRAIN to travel between cities, which give them the opportunity to enjoy this special top transportation technology China has to offer.

In addition to learning the Chinese language they will participate in local culture such as: calligraphy, tea art, traditional musical instruments, Chinese painting, Shu embroidery, Chinese crafts, Chinese cooking, plus more. And they are going to the Giant Panda Base to see PANDA!

Your child's safety and overall well-being is our utmost priority and we make sure every child is a priority. Our mission is to broaden a child's mind through diversity and travel. We believe that cultural exchange is imperative in today's globalized world as well as having an appreciation of other cultures besides their own. Exposing a child to a different country, culture, language, food, arts, and traditions gives the child a better understanding, appreciation, and respect to the differences of others, thus making the world a better place because the children are our future.

Who can participate?

We are accepting U.S. students from 11 to 17 years old.

Student younger than 11 years old must be accompanied by one parent. We also welcome parents to join this amazing journey. If you would like to be a chaperone, we will give you a 15% discounted price.

Students will travel to China with our certified teachers and guides who will take care of them and supervise them.

We are collaborating with Carolina Friends School and other schools on this exciting program.

Program Dates

This summer program is from July 8th, 2018 to July 22nd, 2018.

Program Fee

The cost is $3,380 per student. It includes round trip International air fare from US to China, travel insurance, traveling cost in China, general sight seeing tickets, tuition, lodging, food. Not includes tips, personal spending, passport, visa fees. $500 deposit is due at the registration, and the remaining balance is due on May 10th, 2018.

Orientation

We will have Orientation around the beginning of May to prepare you fully for this wonderful trip and opportunity. You will receive detailed information after registration.

Travel Requirements

Your child will need your consent and a U.S. passport. The legal parent/guardian will have necessary forms to complete before the child can leave for the program. If the child has any medications a doctor's letter is needed. We will organize group visa application for those who are in need. Emails will follow up after registration.

All travel laws and local laws will be followed accordingly and respectfully.
