Program Overview
Daytime Courses will focus on one intensive Duke University undergraduate course for which you will receive academic credit recorded on an official Duke University transcript. Interact with Duke undergraduate students in small classes taught by exceptional Duke faculty and instructors. The subjects for Daytime courses include: Biology, Cultural Anthropology, Documentary Studies, Economics, English, Evolutionary Anthropology, Information Science and Information Studies, Linguistics, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology and Public Policy.
Evening Academics consists of film series and night expos. Evening film series will meet three times a week. Night expos will cover academic writing, college preparation and SAT test training.

Application and Requirements
We help US and international students in the 10th and 11th grades to apply for Duke Summer College.

Housing and Meals
Participants will live in a Duke University residence hall with other high school students enrolled in Summer College.
You will have the support of a full administrative and residential staff with Residential Assistants (RAs) assigned to groups of approximately 15 students. Evening meals, included in the program fee, will be served buffet-style. You will have the option to eat morning and noon meals at a location of your choice using a "Flex" card programmed with a daily amount of cash available for morning and evening meals.
